    Assignment/Title : Jaehee Chung/ 2nd major assignment / Thurs34

    1. Speech Value: 1 She gave audience a chance to look back their life. Her topic is creative and interesting because everyone can relate to what she was talking about. She called for action at the end by telling the audience the importance of preparing themselves for their future turning point.
    2. Preparation: 1 I could see that she prepared well for her presentation. She used simple but effective visual aid. Plus, she rarely glanced at her script.
    3. Organization: 1 I really appreciate her organization of speech. At first, she started with the definition of her topic, turning point. After that, she gave example and shared her life story which were very suitable for her topic. At the end, she persuaded the audience to be ready with their turning point.
    4. Opening: 1 She threw a rhetorical question and defined the term “turning point”. It helped the audience to clearly understand her topic. It was an effective opening.
    5. Body: 1 She was able to choose proper and effective example, the story of Paul Potts, as she described about the turning point. Plus, she shared her life turning point and that made her presentation more persuasive and interesting.
    6. Conclusion: She ended her speech with a wonderful saying. She called for action at the end by persuading the audience to be prepared for their better future. Her conclusion has summarized all she wanted to say.
    7. Transitions: 1 Her transition was very smooth. I could not find any awkwardness in her transition.
