    Speaker: Sungtae Kim
    Assignment/Title : Major Assignment

    1. What was the overall purpose of the speech. Try to restate or summarize the main point. How well was it addressed?
    - The speaker told us the purpose of SNS usage and its positive effects. There were three sub-ideas: connecting people without consuming time and money, sharing thoughts and ideas which make better society, and the flow of information.

    2. Was there a hook? Was it effective? How could it have been improved?
    - The presentation started with a question: How much time do you use for social network service. Then the speaker changed this typical question into his own question: why do you use SNS? It was pretty effective and no need to be improved.

    3. Was the structure logical? Point supported by evidence or examples? Good transitions between ideas?
    - It had a logical structure. He used metaphors between a knife and SNS. And three sub-ideas supports the main idea. The transitions were smooth :)

    4. Was the conclusion concise? Were main points restated or summarized? Was the closing memorable?
    - The conclusion was concise. The purpose was restated and main points were summarized. Moreover, he used the quote of Marshall McLuhan who is famous in Media fields and threw the message arguing that we need to use SNS in correct way. I can say the closing was obviously memorable.

    5. Did the speaker use enthusiasm, pauses, humor, visual aids?
    - There was a PPT file working as nice visual aids. The pictures and icons helped me to follow his words easily. To talk a bit about pauses, I personally think if there were more pauses, that would make some emphasis. But it was well prepared that I could see his enthusiasm.

    6. What did you notice about the speaker’s body language? Posture, eye contact, gestures.
    - Sungtae used eye contact and gesture properly. Especially his hand gestures expressed his thoughts well.

    7. Was the volume good? Did the speaker enunciate and pronounce clearly? Could everything be understood?
    - The volume was clear enough. The speaker had calm, clear tone and loud voice. I could follow his speech well.

Thanks for the nice presentation! :)
