    1. What was the overall purpose of the speech? Try to restate or summarize the main point. How well was it addressed?
-It was about why Social Media sites are worthy. The speaker mentioned 3 reasons on why SNS works in a positive way. 1. They work as a bridge. 2. It has enabled people to be creative. 3. We are able to feel the sympathy of others.
    2. Was there a hook? Was it effective? How could it have been improved?
-I think the hook part was the opening part where he right off shared with us about what he had uploaded on Instagram following by asking a question. It was very interesting and fresh.
    3. Was the structure logical? Point supported by evidence or examples? Good transitions between ideas?
-Yes the structure was logical, well organized, and the transition was smooth. Yes, the speaker gave some examples but I would have supported the speech with one or two more specific examples or stories.
    4. Was the conclusion concise? Were main points restated or summarized? Was the closing memorable?
-The speaker stated a memorable conclusion. He summarized it well and I liked the last part where he encouraged the audience to use SNS in a positive way. I agreed to it and it made me look back at my own posts that I’d uploaded before. It was an uplifting speech. Thanks.

    5. Did the speaker use enthusiasm, pauses, humor, visual aids?
    - The speaker did not use visual aids, but it was a topic that all of us could relate to which made the speech fun and attention-grabbing. The pace was good and pauses were good too.
    6. What did you notice about the speaker’s body language? Posture, eye contact, gestures.
-The speaker had a good amount of body language. It wasn’t too much or too little. I think the eye contact was good too. However in some parts, the body gesture was awkward. For example in the conclusion, I think the gestures could have been less.
    7. Was the volume good? Did the speaker enunciate and pronounce clearly? Could everything be understood?
-The volume of the speech was very clear and audible to understand. I had no problem understanding the presentation. It was overall really great and fun to listen to! Thanks!!!

Assignment Title: A Great Vacation Idea: Take a Rest in Hong Kong

    1. What was the overall purpose of the speech? Try to restate or summarize the main point. How well was it addressed?
The speaker recommends Hong Kong as a vacation spot. He talks about where Hong Kong is located, what Hong Kong is famous for, where his audience should visit, and the local food. Amusement Parks, Victoria Peak, shopping malls and the Rooftop Bar were his choices for the location. Dim Sum, dumplings, Dan Dan noodle were his pick for the local food.

    2. Was there a hook? Was it effective? How could it have been improved?
Yes, there was a hook. He asked his audience about how their winter vacations were, and continued by how well enjoyed his last winter vacation in Hong Kong.

    3. Was the structure logical? Point supported by evidence or examples? Good transitions between ideas?
The structure was logical. From the opening to his main points and to conclusion, the transitions were good. His points were supported by his personal example and were thus strong.

    4. Was the conclusion concise? Were main points restated or summarized? Was the closing memorable?
His conclusion was concise, but his main points were not quite summarized. The closing may have been better if his points were restated in a form such as going over the sites or food once again. Have a good day was memorable for me, though. :D

    5. Did the speaker use enthusiasm, pauses, humor, visual aids?
The speaker was really enthusiastic about his speech – it was evident in his tone and gestures. Mild humor was noticeable, which was great, and his visual aids well ‘aided’ his speech.

    6. What did you notice about the speaker’s body language? Posture, eye contact, gestures.
His body language was impeccable – he had a great eye contact with his audience throughout the speech, and his posture and gestures were also great.

    7. Was the volume good? Did the speaker enunciate and pronounce clearly? Could everything be understood?
The volume was good, and his pronunciation was also great. Everything was well understood.

Thank you for sharing your speech with us, Joonhyung! 
