    1. What was the overall purpose of the speech. Try to restate or summarize the main point. How well was it addressed?
The speaker talked about using real name in Internet. She supported her idea with two reasons. It will protect people from cybercrime and make the information more believable. She concluded by restating those reasons and her opinion.
    2. Was there a hook? Was it effective? How could it have been improved?
There was a hook in her presentation. She stated some popular belief that’s prevalent in our society. And effectively disagreed with it to talk about her own opinion. But I suggest specifying the hook. So, instead of just talking about some opposite opinion that people have, you could pick up a famous person and talk about the quote. This can help the hook to be more interesting.
    3. Was the structure logical? Point supported by evidence or examples? Good transitions between ideas?
It was logical enough. She stated her own opinion and then supported it using two reasons. She also used transitions that help the audience to effectively recognize the logic.
    4. Was the conclusion concise? Were main points restated or summarized? Was the closing memorable?
Considering the time, the conclusion was adequate. Also, she summarized her main points through restating her opinion and main reasons.
    5. Did the speaker use enthusiasm, pauses, humor, visual aids?
She didn’t use visual aids or humor but used pauses when she speaks.
    6. What did you notice about the speaker’s body language? Posture, eye contact, gestures.
She used a lot of eye contact but I think it would have been better if she used some more gestures.
    7. Was the volume good? Did the speaker enunciate and pronounce clearly? Could everything be understood?
The pronunciation was quite clear but the voice was a little small so I think it would have been better if she spoke louder.
Thank you for sharing these videos:)

    Title: Icebreaker

    1. What was the overall purpose of the speech. Try to restate or summarize the main point. How well was it addressed?

Ther purpose of her speech was introducing herself with a story linked to her life. She talked about how she got in to Eicc department of HUFS. It was well delivered as she used her own life story.

    2. Was there a hook? Was it effective? How could it have been improved?
The speech had normal hook. So it would be much better if she had used more catchy hook such as asking questions to the audience.

    3. Was the structure logical? Point supported by evidence or examples? Good transitions between ideas?
Because she spoke first with reasons for choosing the topic and then moving on to the main subject, I think the structure was logical and well organized. So the transition between ideas was also good.

    4. Was the conclusion concise? Were main points restated or summarized? Was the closing memorable?

She concluded her speech saying how hard she tried to enter HUFS just like others in class. Also she talked about turning point that could make others life different. And that is why the closing memorable because I could agree with her thoughts about reagarding entrance to HUFS as turning point.

    5. Did the speaker use enthusiasm, pauses, humor, visual aids…

She used her own stories and also visual aids that showed the content of her speech effectively. Also pace of her speech was really appropriate for others to understand.

    6. What did you notice about the speaker’s body language? Posture, eye contact, gestures.
She did not use much body language in my opinion so it would be better for her to use them more next time. But as she memorized almost every line of her speech, her eye contact was perfect.

    7. Was the volume good? Did the speaker enunciate and pronounce clearly? Could everything be understood?

I really liked her speech because I could understand her speech due to her clear pronunciation and loud and audible voice.
